Gender Policy Officer

Since 2000, CRTD.A has been working on promoting gender equality and social justice through its four-pillar programme focusing on citizenship, economic rights, leadership and knowledge throughvariois training, capacity building, research, communication, lobbying and advocacy activities

CRTD.A
is now seeking to recruit a “gender policy officer” who will integrate its current Gender RightsTeam.

Key Responsibilities of the Gender Policy Officer include:

Hands on implementation of project
activities

• Contribute to the implementation of CRTD.A gender
  rights, citizenship and leadership action 
• Liaison with international, regional and local
  stakeholders and partners
• Systematic monitoring of Gender and Development
  news and updates in the Machreq & Maghreb countries, through gathering of
  data and information
• Reporting of activities at all levels
• Working as part of the CRTD.A team and the Gender RightsTeam

Needed Skills:

• University
  degree in social sciences or relevant field
• At least 2
  years experience in working with NGOs preferably in capacity building and/or policy and advocacy work
• Ability to
  work within a team & demonstrable facilitation skills
• Excellent
  writing skills
• Computer
  literate, thorough knowledge of MS Word and other computer software applications in use
• Strong
  written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic. French is a plus.
• Commitment to gender equality and social justice

This post is offered on 12 months-basis with possibility of extension.
